Eduardo Omine is an architect/designer. He graduated from the São Paulo University in 2002.

His typeface Beret was awarded the Honorable Mention at the fourth edition of the International Type Design Contest, promoted by Linotype Library from Germany in 2004.

Other typefaces by him have also been highlighted recently in several exhibitions (Bienal Letras Latinas 2004, Typegallery 2003 and 2004) and magazines (Design Gráfico, Projeto, Tupigrafia, tipoGráfica).

He created Omine Type as a vehicle for offering his own font designs.
