Kindergarten Krems

In 2011, Bohatsch und Partner designed the way-finding system for a kindergarten in Krems, Austria. The pictograms were created in cooperation with Jacek Malinovski. The building was devised by NMPB-Architekten, Vienna.

The children's individuality provides the context for changing pictograms and the selection of flexible elements on the signs. The large wallpaper covering two floors can be painted by the children themselves.

The font in use isVista, drawn in 2004 by Xavier Dupré. It was chosen because of its distinct character and its modern stylistic vocabulary.
