The design of this book follows its content, a study on Minimal art. The cover – with its ample white space and small title, which has been shifted to the edges – illustrates the interpretation of Minimalism as an art of the staged blank space. The industrial and cold look typical of Minimal art is emphasised by the use of technical-looking elements, such as the fluorescent red of the font, the coloured edges and the disproportionately large initials on the pages separating the individual chapters.
