近日苹果公司就自iOS系统发布以来缺乏多样化的表情元素做出正面回应，表示公司正同Unicode协会共同努力致力于解决这方面的问题。自从iPhone首次亮相之后内置在手机中的表情基本上没有任何的变化，其中最为主要的原因是这些表情都基于跨平台标准，并且需要在跨平台设备中保持统一性。
The Unicode Consortium （Unicode 协会）是一个非赢利性组织，其目标是发展、扩大及推广Unicode 标准的应用。本次苹果通过加强和Unicode协会的合作将会对现有标准进行补充和修缮，在不久的将来我们能够看到更多的表情元素。
