The IKKM (Internationales Kolleg für Kulturtechnikforschung und Medienphilosophie — "International Research Institute for Cultural Techniques and Media Philosophy") is located at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. The research program "Operative Ontologies" is dedicated to contemporary discourses and questions.
Approach: Transfer of the existing visual appearance into this theoretical framework and creation of corresponding designs for all communication tools and channels — including the website. Key task was the development of a visual leitmotif, which refers and interprets the media philosophical meta discourses "Framing/Sewing", "Appearing/Disappearing", "Repeating/Reflecting".
