The Type Deck

Designed by Chris Cavill, the Type Deck is a typography style poker deck targeted at individuals who share a love for creativity. Each of the 52 cards are hand illustrated. The four traditional suits each have their own contemporary style and is uniquely different from one another.

The collection includes typographic joker cards like "The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog"-a print industry phrase that uses every letter of the English alphabet.

"Typography is an essential element of design and I hadn't seen a deck that used it with any consistent style across all four suits, so I set out to change that," commented Cavill. "Every card was treated as an art canvas. I designed ligatures for each suit and this whole family of cards molded into one beautiful masterpiece."
