Brandon Printedis the latest spin-off of Hannes von Döhren's incessantly popular Brandon Grotesque. The uppercase-only family with the coarsely letterpress-printed look features eight fonts: two plain and two shaded styles, a separate shadow-only style, an Inline, an "Extras" font with dingbats, and a heavily smudged "Double". Latter has been used for the movie poster for Wir sind die Neuen.

To my surprise, Brandon Printed made it onto MyFonts' Bestsellers list, too, just like the original Brandon Grotesque and Brandon Text, which is optimized for longer texts. This is the first time I noticed the pre-grunged version in use.

Although each font of Brandon Printed offers two sets of eroded alternates for every letter, there is no clever OpenType flipper feature that would automate the rotation. In order to avoid repeating glyphs, one has to mix upper-and lowercase characters. This has not been done here: all the repeating letters are identical.
