The webfont served for headlines is "Mercury" by Radim Peško. It has since been renamedMerkury. It's an interesting, uncommon choice.
The text throughout the site wasn't given much thought, unfortunately. Arial isn't a terrible option, given that Merkury is not likely hinted for small sizes, but the paragraphs are set too small, with long line lengths, and very little space between image and text.
