This Might Be The Best Way To Teach Children The Alphabet

What do a brain, a Snickers bar, an aquamarine egg yolk and a cluster of breasts have in common? Well, not much, except they're all featured in German design studio Foreal's gloriously random typography series.

"One single rule: Choose a letter and sculpt it!" Foreal's Benjamin Simon wrote to The Huffington Post. The alphabet is an anything-goes exercise in the beauty of all things arbitrary, from croissants to hairy fingers. The melange of images has no rhyme or reason, but makes up for it with plenty of color and texture.

The 3D project, an inventive introduction to the wonders of Cinema 4D, resists the urge to pair each letter with an image associated with it, opting instead for a nonsensical visual feast that will be in no way helpful to teaching young children the alphabet.
