For sale at Oliver Wood. Rare books, photographs and archives:

This, the first of Ruscha's books to use colour, contains photographs of public and private swimming pools in Las Vegas and Los Angeles followed by one of a broken glass. The suggestion of danger; together with blank spreads that break up the sequence and fill the final nineteen pages, 'reinforces a feeling of emptiness and absence in this lush world of leisure' (Wolf p.154).
